100 Women 100 Words
100 Women, 100 Words is an exhibition intended to Honor South Texas Women.  The idea began in 2002 as a Women's History Project at McMurray University by Dr. Christina Wilson, Dean of Art and Letters and Jennifer Nichols, Gallery Director.
Inspired by this, Particia H. Ballinger, Assistant Professor of Art and Gina R. Otvos, Art Gallery Associate of South Texas College took on the project to create an exhibit in our region.  The Honorees are native and non-native to the RGV and include Educators, Business Owners, Community Activists and Artists.  This event shares the Visual and Literal Story of South Texas Women.
Rosa Linda Cruz is an Honoree among the 100 Women presented in this prestigious Women's History Project.
